This workshop’s goal is to understand mystical effects in monochrome. You will learn ways of perceiving Black and White as colors. We will explore various marks through both dry and wet mediums. I will demonstrate how to initiate abstract marks, experiment with textures, and layer through the creative process using various techniques. The class will be open to using various mediums such as charcoal, conte, Artgraf (water-soluble graphite), and ink to delve into monochromatic abstraction. Feel free to select a few or all in this class.
